Throughout the evacuation from Afghanistan, tens of thousands of refugees were flown out of the country and taken to US bases.
Secretary of State Blinken even conceded that the United States was vetting these refugees on the back end rather than the front end.
Yet, the administration has been blocking charter planes with Americans for fear of national security, a position that Press Secretary Jen Psaki somehow managed to defend with a straight face.
But What About Americans
If you read my articles regularly, you know where I stand on this administration and Democrats in general.
Democrats have put Americans on the backburner, and somehow half the country is okay with that.
How can you justify sending non-vetted refugees to bases yet decline the very same right to American citizens?
Psaki tried to do that, stating, “They may have several hundred individuals where we don’t have manifests for them, we don’t know what the security protocols are for them, we don’t know what their documentation is.”
You see the hypocrisy here? Apparently, unvetted refugees are more important than Americans.
Today, some planes were finally approved for takeoff, but it had very little to do with this administration.
Were it not for private efforts to get these people out of the country, we would still have hundreds of Americans behind Taliban lines that the Biden administration could care less about.
If they had their way, the page would have already been turned on this, but we are NOT going to allow that to happen.
