Jerry Nadler Bombs During Debate

I have never hidden my hatred for having fossils in office.

That is especially true when they cannot remember their names and have been in office for decades.

They call them representatives for a reason, as they are supposed to represent the people.

Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) is in that category, having entered politics in 1977 and Congress in 1992.

He is 75 years old and he has never worked an honest job in his life.

And now, during a debate, he proved us all right by confusing Bush with Trump, and constantly stumbling over his words.

Time to Go

I am not bashing the elderly here, just lifelong politicians whose time has passed.

One of Nadler’s opponents, Suraj Patel, made this exact point.

The other candidate in the race is another fossil, Carolyn Maloney, who is 76 and has been in politics since 1983 and Congress since 1993.

She and Nadler are the favorites after redistricting has the two longtime Democrats facing off against the young wildcard.

Seriously, though, listen to this and tell me if you think Nadler is fit for office…

That display should end his career, but the sad reality is that most voters are on auto-pilot when they head to the booth.

The New York Primary is being held on August 23 and if New Yorkers were smart, they would send Nadler out to pasture.

Instead, they are likely to re-elect him on name recognition alone.
