Joe Biden’s New Big Lie

Joe Biden has told his fair share of lies before.

This one, however, might just stand above the rest. Perhaps it’s because of our ability to immediately and definitively prove it completely false:

Joe Biden recently claimed he “never said a negative thing” about John McCain.

We don’t need Maury’s lie detector test to figure out if Biden is fibbing or not.

There are plenty of records about what potential VP Biden said about John McCain during the runup to the 2008 election:

“What a majority of American people are looking for — a steady hand, leadership, an optimist; not an angry man, lurching from one position to another.”

Okay, given Biden’s apparent anger problems, maybe he didn’t mean that one as an insult.

How about:

“You can’t call yourself a maverick when all you’ve ever been is a sidekick,” Biden said of McCain in October of 2008.

I’m not saying Joe Biden’s insults were creative or interesting.

I just said that they exist.

That’s more than Joe’s willing to do.

Just for the fun of it, let’s check in with what Maury thought of Joe’s statement after all.
