Joe Rogan Sends Followers to GETTR

Former Trump adviser Jason Miller’s social media platform, GETTR, is about to blow up.

After a vaccination specialist and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) were banned on Twitter, Rogan opened up a GETTR account.

Rogan is now pushing his followers over to the new social media outlet, which will be a huge boost for the new conservative platform.

The Enigma

Joe Rogan is a bit of an enigma for the Republican Party right now.

Since his move to Texas, Rogan has been far kinder to conservatives.

However, make no mistake about it, the man is a liberal.

He talks about protecting personal freedoms in one breath, but in the next one, he talks about Barack Obama being the best president this country has ever had (and yes, he really said that).

He believes Michelle Obama should run for president because she could beat Trump, then he trashes Twitter and flees to a social media platform that is mainly filled with conservatives…

I cannot figure out if he is slowly converting or setting up some honey trap to lure conservatives away from Republican candidates.

Regardless, Rogan is now pushing his almost eight million followers over to Jason Miller’s new social media platform just in case Twitter starts to get crazy and ban him too.

Rogan made the move after Greene was banned, following the banning of Dr. Robert Malone, a significant contributor to mRNA vaccine technology…

Malone dared to discuss the COVID vaccines in a negative light, and Twitter was having none of it.

On the new flood of users, Miller stated, “It’s been nothing short of phenomenal.

“It’s the fastest-ever social media platform to reach 1 million users – which we were able to do just three days after launch.”

He continued, “The platform is growing, and it’s really exciting when you look at some of these different platforms, just how long it took them to reach 1 million users.

“It took us three days.

“I think what this shows is just the appetite that is there for a platform that doesn’t censor for political beliefs.”

The growth is impressive, but one million users is a drop in the bucket, relatively speaking, compared to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

It is a great start, but he will need hundreds of millions of users if the platform is going to be a success.

Also, do not forget, Donald Trump is launching a new platform in about three months, so what will happen to GETTR once that launch happens?

I am still skeptical of the new site just because I have seen this rush before, only for the sites to fail after a few months.

Having said all that, landing someone like Rogan on the site is pretty big for Miller simply because he has such a loyal following.

I really hope his site and Trump’s new site work and eventually drive Twitter out of business, but that is a pretty high hope.

If GETTR cannot do it, we can only hope that once Republicans take back Congress, they drop the hammer on big tech the way they have been promising for years.
