Of all of the mistakes Joe Biden’s ever made, this one may have been the most obvious to anyone with half a brain.
Biden actually believed China would help him prevent Russia from invading Ukraine.
The New York Times recently reported that over three months, senior Biden officials held at least six meetings with top Chinese government officials in which they pleaded with China to tell Russia not to invade.
Former Trump Administration National Security Advisor Rovert O’Brien isn’t surprised the plan didn’t work.
“There’s nothing wrong with talking to our adversaries, but I think it’s a little naive to think that somehow we’re going to convince the Chinese to go to their allies — the Russians — and say, ‘The Americans know where your troops are, so you shouldn’t invade,'”
“I think it maybe wasa little naive to expect that we were going to get aid from the Chinese on this issue,” O’Brien said. “I mean — especially when China, at the same time that this is happening, China’s sending fighter jets into the air defense identification zone of Taiwan.”
“It was a little surprising,” he concluded.
Obviously, any meetings that Biden’s men did have with China didn’t work.
So that falls right in line with everything else they do…
