Roughly half the country’s annual coal consumption is via federal land leases.

An activist judge reinstated the ban, citing that the previous judge had not properly considered the impacts on the environment when Trump requested the ban be lifted.

Rather than work with the industry to continue advances in clean coal production, Biden will cut the industry off at the knees.

This will also cut off a huge income source for the industry, putting the coal industry one step closer to extinction, which is Joe’s end goal.

National Mining Association President Rich Nolan stated they would appeal the ruling.

He stated, “This is a deeply disappointing decision with energy-driven inflation, energy affordability and energy security top concerns for Americans.

“Denying access to affordable, secure energy during an energy affordability crisis is deeply troubling.”
