Joe Biden is having a really bad day.
Earlier today, we reported that a Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decision was handed down blocking a student vaccine mandate at a San Diego school.
Biden was just dealt a similar blow by U.S. District Judge Matthew Schelp, who halted the vaccine mandate for health care workers in 10 states.
Sorry, Joe
Many health care workers around the country do not want to take the vaccine because they have natural antibodies.
These workers put their health on the front lines without a vaccine during the early days of the pandemic.
Many of them caught the virus and have fully recovered.
Data has since shown that natural antibodies are far better than the vaccine in many cases, so why risk it?
We still do not have enough data on how the vaccine impacts natural antibodies, something these workers are surely aware of, so one can completely understand their hesitancy.
On blocking the order, Judge Schelp, a Trump nominated juror, stated, “The scale falls clearly in favor of healthcare facilities operating with some unvaccinated employees, staff, trainees, students, volunteers and contractors, rather than the swift, irremediable impact of requiring healthcare facilities to choose between two undesirable choices — providing substandard care or providing no healthcare at all.”
He added, “Congress did not clearly authorize CMS to enact this politically and economically vast, federalism-altering, and boundary-pushing mandate, which Supreme Court precedent requires.”
We can surely expect to see more of this as hospitals around the country are now facing staffing shortages due to Biden’s new OSHA rule, which has also been suspended by the court.
This is yet another crushing blow against Biden in his effort to have workplaces force the vaccine or fire people.
This could also impact the military mandate, as there will surely be legal recourse by veterans kicked out of the service if this mandate is deemed unconstitutional.
