Well, the Biden administration is about to take yet another hit.
As it turns out, the suicide bombing at Kabul airport never had to happen.
Due to the fall of Bagram Air Base, however, 13 service members are dead and more than 100 civilians were killed or injured.
Another Biden Disaster
How anyone thought abandoning Bagram was a good idea is beyond me.
Not only was it a strategic necessity, but it also housed thousands of suspected terrorists.
When the base was abandoned and later captured by the Taliban, those prisoners were all set free.
One of them went right for a suicide vest and carried out the attack.
The bomber has been identified by intelligence agencies as ISIS-K member Abdul Rehman Al-Loghri.
He was freed on August 15 and carried out his attack on August 26.
As usual, the White House Press Secretary deflected the question, proving she is completely useless other than throwing out sarcastic comments.
When asked about the identity of the bomber, she stated, “I can’t speak to the specific case.
“I’d let it — leave it to the intelligence community to speak to that. So, I’d point you to them.”
It is hard to remember a press secretary that stated “circle back” or “I’d point you to them” for answers more than Psaki.
This is not about being unprepared but rather an insistence on a lack of transparency with the American people.
They talk to use like we are idiots, and the mainstream media continues to allow it.
