Kash Patel served as the chief investigator for Rep. Nunes (R-CA) for the Russian dossier regarding the collusion narrative Democrats were trying to push very early on during the Trump administration.
If you recall, Nunes eventually released a memo that Democrats and the media widely mocked at the time.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) responded with his own memo, which is exactly what Kash says Nunes was hoping would happen.
He Took the Bait
Kash stated, “Adam Schiff took the bait and put so much more information in his memo than we did in ours, because we knew we would be able to use that information later and prove how wrong they were.
“It would just take a little bit of time.
“So that was the strategy behind it.”
Eventually, Nunes’s memo was proven to be completely accurate, while Schiff’s memo was proven to be nothing but lies.
Even so, the media and California voters never held Schiff accountable.
