Lightfoot Slams ‘Toxicity’ After Dropping F-Bomb on Justice Thomas

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot really is the gift that keeps on giving.

During a Pride event last month, she stood at the microphone dropping f-bombs on Justice Clarence Thomas, talking about defying the Supreme Court.

On Tuesday, she reversed course and slammed people for their “toxicity” and how that is a sign of people “losing respect for the institutions of our democracy.”

Is She for Real?

Lightfoot’s Chicago just came off one of the most brutal weekends we have seen thus far.

While attending an event on Tuesday, Lightfoot addressed the recent violence as well as the attacks against police officers in her city.

She stated, “That says to me that the people who are acting so brazenly have no not only no respect for themselves, but they don’t have respect for the institution like the police department, who men and women every single day on every watch, are literally risking life and limb for our safety.

“But toxicity in our public discourse is a thing that I think we should all be concerned about, right?”

She continued, “That’s the thing I think that concerns me the most about what we’re seeing, really over the arc of these last two years- I get it. People are angry. They are frustrated. And they’re fearful.

“But we can’t let those things mean that we lose sight of each other’s humanity. We’ve got to find a common sense and a purpose.”

The hypocrisy is rich here…

So, is telling a Supreme Court justice to go fu** himself toxic or no?

Like I said… Lightfoot is the gift that keeps on giving.
