Long Beach Port Operations Still Not 24/7

Joe Biden lied.

Jen Psaki lied.

And the media is, by and far, ignoring the story.

About Those Ports…

Four months ago, Joe Biden promised to get the Long Beach ports operation around the clock, 24/7, to help with the supply chain crisis.

A few weeks ago, during a press briefing, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki hinted that the ports were actually operating around the clock.

She was even so bold to declare this as an example of how Joe Biden is getting things done.

Well, as it turns out, it was all a lie.

On Wednesday, Long Beach Executive Director Mario Cordero gave his “State of the Port” annual address.

Guess what Mr. Cordero revealed?

The ports are NOT operational 24/7, not even close.

As a matter of fact, all he stated was that the conversation has only been started.

He also revealed that out of 168 hours in a week, the ports are only operating for about 74 of those hours.

Let me take you back to October…

Biden stated, “After weeks of negotiation and working with my team and with the major union and retailers and freight movers, the Ports of Los Angeles — the Port of Los Angeles announced today that it’s going to be — begin operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”

That was 100 percent a complete and utter lie.

None of that happened because they don’t have the staffing or capabilities to make that happen.

When will someone in the mainstream media call him out on this?

Why is the media not going absolutely ballistic that this administration seems to spew only lies?

And they wonder why Biden’s approval rating continues to hover around 40 percent.
