Manchin Claims GOP Priorities in New Bill

Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) is officially on my hit list now.

I am sick and tired of being crossed by this man.

The last straw is his outright lying about his spending bill having GOP priorities.

Sick of the Lies

The new spending bill will cost the American people more than $400 billion.

When all is said and done, we are the ones that will feel the additional pain of corporations facing higher taxes.

Believe me, I have no pity for these companies, but the impact of this bill will mean job cuts and higher prices for consumers.

These people live in a dream world if they don’t think companies are going to pass this down to the consumer.

The reality is that Democrats will be hard-pressed to get a single Republican vote to support it.

They are also going to need every Democrat to show up in order for it to get through the House and Senate.

Yet, this is the nonsense that Manchin is spewing…

Senator Portman (R-OH) responded, “Folks who work in these companies – and remember half this is going to fall on manufacturers – they’re gonna see their wages and benefits be reduced because of this taxation at a time when they’re having a really hard time keeping up with current inflation.”

From what I have seen of this bill, he is absolutely right.

GOP CHAIR TWEETS

A week ago, Joe Biden told Americans that prices aren’t actually high.

But the numbers don’t lie.

Inflation is up 14.4% since Biden took office.

And all the president can offer are more lies.

Inflation ⬆️ more than expected.

Overall CPI: +6.4% y/y
Fuel Oil: +27.7%
Electricity: +11.9%
Groceries: +11.3%
Chicken +10.5%
Milk: +11%
Eggs: +70.1%
Bread: +14.9%
Potatoes: +12.4%
Baby Food: +10%
Airline Fares: +25.6%
Real Average Hourly Earnings: -1.8%

Year-over-year real wages have been negative for 22 months - ever since Biden forced through his $1.9 trillion "stimulus."

That's a wages recession for American workers.
