On Sunday, Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) walked away, at least for now, from supporting the Build Back Better (BBB) plan.

The media and Democrats made him out as a supervillain for doing so.

The only people that should matter to Manchin, his constituents, are giving him a big thumb’s up for the move.

We Support Joe

Right now, Joe Manchin holds the future debt of this country in his hands.

We all know we are already deep in the red, but the BBB plan would cement that debt for decades.

By walking away, many believe Joe Manchin saved the next generation from being burdened with heavy taxes to pay for this out-of-control- spending binge our government is currently on.

However, the Democrat Party and the media did not paint the same picture.

Manchin has been getting slammed by everyone in the party, right up through the White House.

His constituents, however, the people he is paid to support, appear to be behind Manchin on this front.

Fox News did some man-on-the-street interviews and the feedback was great for Manchin.

One woman stated, “I absolutely support him.

“Nothing in that bill was going to help West Virginia.

“In fact, it would cost us jobs, for which we, of course, would be paying as taxpayers.”

Another resident stated, “I support Joe Manchin 120%.”

She further stated that she was glad to see that Manchin was “not backing down to Biden because West Virginia is suffering for Biden’s choices.”

That seemed to be the common theme from just about everyone that Fox News talked to regarding Manchin walking away from the bill.

Now we have to hope that Manchin sticks to his guns when Congress comes back into session after the holiday.
