Nancy Pelosi is finally being held accountable for her actions.
It’s House Republicans, led by Arizona’s Andy Briggs that are finally giving Nancy Pelosi an ultimatum.
Remove mask mandates, or completely lose support from the rest of Congress.
Time to Lose the Masks
While mask mandates anywhere aren’t good, this specific demand is referring to the one in place inside the Capitol building.
“This has gone on long enough,” Briggs began.
He continued, “There is no reason to keep our Capitol closed and to continue enforcing the draconian mask mandate.
“The Capitol belongs to the American people, and their right to come before Congress is not contingent on wearing a mask.
“No more excuses, reopen the Capitol and rescind the mandates so that we can return to normal.”
Pelosi deflected blame by trying to say that the mask mandates were not up to her.
Her spokesperson Drew Hammill said that “These decisions are up to the Office of Attending Physician.
“Reopening of the Capitol is up the House and Senate Sergeants at Arms in consultation with the Office of Attending Physician.”
So we can either assume that all of the governors that just abolished the mask rules for their state either did it illegally, or Pelosi’s office is lying.
Geez, I wonder which is more likely…
