Race… that is ALWAYS what it comes down to with the Democrat Party.

Challenge a minority in the party, and you are racist.

Well, Fox News’ Martha MacCallum did not even let it get that far with White House council of economic advisers Jared Bernstein before she shut him down cold.

What Does That Have to Do with It?

There has been considerable pushback regarding the qualifications of Dr. Lisa Cook for the Federal Reserve.

According to Bernstein, however, we should just be happy because she is a black woman on the Fed.

He stated, “We don’t talk about Fed policy on a regular basis like that.

“We’re really very much dedicated to an independent Federal Reserve. I will state, and underscoring reporting you just did, that the confirmation of the president’s nominees to the Federal Reserve is super important, this is the first and foremost institution fighting inflation.

“And the fact that we now have a Federal Reserve with Dr. Lisa Cook, the first black woman ever to be on a Federal Reserve board, is I think a key achievement of Bidenomics, trying to make sure that this extremely important global economic institution looks a little bit more like some of the people that it’s representing.”

So, you either know the economy or you do not, period, and race has NOTHING to do with it, which was MacCallum’s retort.

She asked, “How does the fact that it’s a diversity pick mean that the economy is going to improve? Why is that relevant?”

Bernstein shot back that it is relevant because she is helping to represent America.

This is not a position in the House or Senate or a police department… it is an economic position where you want the best and brightest, REGARDLESS of color.

His argument is idiotic, yet MacCallum will probably be called a racist for putting qualifications over race because that is how the Democrat Party works these days.

By the way, just about everything Bernstein pointed to regarding Biden improving the economy is complete garbage and I still do not understand why the media does not address it.

We are still not at the point of where unemployment was BEFORE the pandemic hit, so Biden has literally done nothing to improve the situation over and above where this country was when Trump was in office.

And as far as job creation is concerned… well, these were people coming back to jobs, not getting newly created jobs, so, again, complete garbage.
