Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has no shame.

She has been using an antiquated campaign tool for two decades to line her daughter’s pockets.

Her daughter has made more than $1.2 million off this scam since 2003, and she just added another $24,000 to the register.

No Shame

Karen Waters runs a slate mailer program for Waters.

This is a practice that, for the most part, died out when the internet and email became established campaign tools.

Waters has kept it rolling, however, mainly because her daughter makes a year’s salary for most people in a few weeks.

Now, it is not technically a crime to pay family members out of the campaign, but Waters has been paying her daughter far more than the normal rate for years, and nobody has ever said a word about it.

For instance, during the last election cycle, Waters paid her daughter $240,000.

One could almost say that Waters knows her career is almost over and she is making sure her daughter is set up before she retires from office.

Actually, it would not surprise me to see Karen Waters get Maxine’s seat whenever she decides to step down, just as we have seen plenty of other politicians do with their children.

This entire thing is nothing more than a scam to both drive campaign donations and make her daughter rich.

If they were regular citizens, they would have been brought up on charges years ago for this nonsense.

Instead, the whole thing has the blessing of Congress.
