DHS Secretary Mayorkas had a rather rough day on the Hill on Thursday.
He had plenty of blunders, but I would like to concentrate on two of them for this particular article.
Both issues revolve around the current crisis at the border.
Terrorists
The first issue is something with which everyone in this country should have a problem.
In fact, it should have dominated the headlines and evening news stories, but nobody is really paying attention because Democrats are in charge.
Mayorkas was asked about the whereabouts of the 42 individuals captured at the border on the terror watch list.
His answer…he doesn’t know…
This is the highest-ranking member of the administration responsible for the security of this country, and he doesn’t know.
The Wall
The first thing that Joe Biden did when he took office was sign off on the ending of the border wall construction.
This project was bought and paid for, but Biden ended it anyway.
How much did ending that project cost the American people for a country that is already bleeding money?
How about flushing $72 million down the drain…
If that doesn’t make you spit out your dinner, nothing will.
It’s Joe Biden’s world, my friends, we are just paying for it.
