Donald Trump has made it pretty clear he has no plans on letting go of the 2020 election, for better or worse.

Senator McConnell (R-KY), even though he and Trump are at odds, wants the former president to look forward, not back.

With so much to crush Democrats on now, there is simply no need to rehash 2020 to get an overwhelming win in 2022 and 2024.

Hey, Donald!

In urging Trump to let the past go, McConnell stated, “I do think we need to be thinking about the future and not the past.

“I think the American people are focusing on this administration, what it’s doing to the country, and it’s my hope the ’22 election will be a referendum on the performance of the current administration, not a rehash of suggestions about what may have happened in 2020.”

I would suspect McConnell’s request will be ignored by Trump if his recent rally is a hint.

During that rally in Iowa, Trump stated, “Mitch McConnell should have challenged that election because even back then, we had plenty of material to challenge that election.

“He should have challenged the election.”

Those of you that read BND all the time know I do not like McConnell, but he has a valid point here, and before you go off on me, hear me out.

At this point, we will never get a fair investigation into what happened.

Furthermore, there is nothing that will ever be done about it with Dems in charge and personally, I believe most people are tired of hearing about it.

Democrats are handing us 2022 on a silver platter, so focus on winning back the House and Senate, then call all the investigations you want into the 2020 election.

We simply cannot blow this opportunity that we have of a monumental win, possibly even ousting Joe Biden from office (and possibly Kamala Harris).

I know I will get lit up on this one, but I really do want to hear where you guys are at on this one.
