The former first lady cited statistics so heartbreaking that she had no choice but to get involved and try to help the next generation of Americans gather the means to achieve their goals.
Just half of foster children finish high school.
Three percent of them go on to get a college degree.
To Melania Trump, these figures were absolutely not acceptable.
So she decided to do something about it.
