It was not that long ago that Joe Biden stood in front of the country during his SOTU address to tell everyone he was going to secure the border.
As usual, it was a lie.
February 2022 border numbers are in, and the surge continues to grow.
No Deterrence
Illegal immigrants now know that as long as they can get to the border, they have a new home in the United States, even if they are apprehended.
This has led to unprecedented surges at the border.
To that point, in February, there were 164,973 encounters, up a whopping 63 percent from the previous February, which was a record at the time for the month.
Go back to Trump’s last February in office, when there were a mere 36,687 encounters.
The February numbers are also an increase from January when there were 153,941 migrant encounters at the border.
This is something that is clearly trending the wrong way.
For the current fiscal year, there have been 838,685 encounters.
In the entire 2020 fiscal year, which was Trump’s final fiscal year in office, there were a total of 458,088 encounters at the border.

This is a flow that can clearly not be sustained.
Liberals continue to fail to grasp the trickledown effect of how his just absolutely crushes our economy and puts a strain on government programs.
Biden, of course, continues to deflect blame, saying it is the “root causes” that are the problem, not the policies of this administration.
