Joe Biden’s speech on Thursday left conservatives with their jaws hitting the floor.
Biden clearly overstepped his bounds and used a tone with the American people most of us have simply never heard before.
After the speech, Mike Pence slammed Biden in how he chose to address the American people.
Pence Drops the Hammer
Pence is still trying to work his way back into favor with Trump supporters.
Some of those supporters will never forgive him, while others just need a bit more time.
For the latter, Pence’s latest statement will go a long way to win them back.
In commenting on Biden’s speech, Pence stated, “I have to tell you the president’s speech yesterday was unlike anything I had ever heard from an American president.
“I mean, to have the president of the United States say that he has been patient but his patience is wearing thin.
“That’s not how the American people expect to be spoken to by our elected leader.”
Pence also hammered Biden for daring to go after governors and threatening to run them over.
He stated, “We got governors across the country what they needed when they needed it, and we respected them to make the decisions best for their state.
“And now to have a president not just scolding the American people but scolding governors around the country, it just is not the American way.
“And I expect the response they are going to get across the country will prove that.”
