Mike Pence Defends The RNC’s Decision

For a while, people were left wondering where Mike Pence stood on the issue.

Now, he’s announced his thoughts for America to hear.

Mike Pence believes the RNC censuring Representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kizinger was the right decision.

They Got It Right

Both Representative Cheney, a “Republican” from Wyoming, and Representative Adam Kizinger, a Republican from Illinois, have made hefty accusations about the January 6 protests and the RNC in general.

Pence also said that he believes January 6 was “legitimate political discourse.”

At least, separate from the criminals committing the violence it was.

He admitted that some individuals made January 6 a “tragic day.”

However, those were not the people he was defending.

Pence also addressed the fact that he certified the results of the 2020 election when he was vice president, despite demands from President Trump for Pence not to.

“The Constitution was quite clear on that tragic day in January,” Pence concluded.

Pence continued, “I knew what my duty was. And I kept my oath even though it hurt.

“And we moved the nation forward.

“And I don’t know if the president and I will ever see eye to eye on that. I really don’t.”
