Mike Pompeo: Joe Biden Not ‘Credible’

We have not seen Russia get this aggressive in decades.

When Trump was in office, Russia would not have dared to make a strategic military move against Ukraine.

With Biden in office, they have amassed a reported 100,000 troops at the border and reports of a leadership coup are now blowing up all over the place.

There is a reason for this… and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo nailed it.

Not Credible

Biden has tried to talk tough with Russia, but nobody is buying it.

He keeps talking about how much of a price Russia will pay for an act of aggression, but he has yet to say what he will actually do.

The consensus is that he will put sanctions in place, but that may not work in terms of a deterrent.

After all, we are reliant upon Middle East oil and the Chinese supply chain.

Putin can hit us just as hard, harder in fact than we hit him with a couple of phone calls.

Pompeo, on this front, stated, “The real hard work of deterrence would have happened a long time ago, a year ago.

“When President Putin demanded that we give him a New START treaty extension, we gave it to him for nothing.

“When they had Russian cyberattacks and they shut down the Colonial Pipeline, we told them you can only attack certain sectors but 16 are off-limits.

“When we left Afghanistan the way we did. Those were the places where the administration had the chance to establish deterrence. Putin saw this.

“I think they don’t see President Biden as credible.”
