I have always enjoyed Mike Rowe’s brutal honesty.
He does not care conservative or liberal, if you are screwing up, he will call you out.
He did just that regarding the mixed messaging that this administration is sending out regarding COVID and the vaccine.
Just Be Honest
If you hear Democrats rather than look at the numbers, you would have two different opinions regarding what is happening with COVID right now.
The active mortality rate overall is about one percent and the mortality rate among the vaccinated is miniscule.
Point being, there is really no need to panic here.
Yes, people are dying, but they died from the flu and we never had this much outrage or concern.
I have often stated that I believe COVID will be the new flu, only on steroids, meaning the numbers will be larger but can be controlled and will run the same cycle as the flu has for decades.
Rowe more or less made the same point, in part, stating, “Last week, as I’m sure you’re aware, moments after assuring the country that the vaccines he and millions of others have taken are ‘incredibly effective, President Biden said, ‘We must now protect the vaccinated workers from the unvaccinated workers.’”
“Wait…What?
“You don’t have to be a scientist to hear a message like that and pose a couple of very reasonable queries. 1) If the vaccines are effective, why do the vaccinated need to be protected from the unvaccinated?
And 2) If the vaccines are not effective, then why should the unvaccinated get one?”
