If you don’t think a woke military is a national security threat, you better think again.
The desire of this administration to be more worried about training troops on the use of the proper pronoun instead of how to kill enemy forces is taking its toll.
That narrative may play great for the woke crowd, but the people joining our military to defend this country are getting disgusted and discouraged, resulting in a military that cannot meet recruiting goals.
Just Stop It
Let’s be honest here… do you really think soldiers feel comfortable going into battle with someone that is struggling to figure out if he is a she or she is a he?
I know a lot of past and present military, quite a few of them who have seen action as well as special forces.
They will all tell you the same thing… when you go into battle, there is only one focus, period.
In that moment, you live to keep your brother alive… that is the only thing you can be thinking about… the mission.
To carry out those missions, they spend hours, days, weeks, and months training, so their muscle memory kicks in before fear or doubt even has a chance to show up.
With a woke military, you can no longer be assured that singular thought is in the mind of the man standing next to you, the person whose life you are trusted with and they trust theirs in you.
Recruiting numbers are down across the board, and there is a real danger that we will not be able to fill the requirements to properly defend this country in times of war.
Ret. Lt. Gen. Thomas Spoehr of the Heritage Foundation stated, “This is the start of a long drought for military recruiting.”
He added, “2022 is the year we question the sustainability of the all-volunteer force.”
When you add in this new woke nature of our military with the problems we have seen over the years, most notably this country’s utter failure to properly take care of our veterans when they return from service, what is the incentive to put that uniform on?
I have seen this damage firsthand, and without the proper support system, these heroes fall into the abyss and sadly, our government could care less.
We send these men and women into battle for days, weeks, months, and years, and they see the most horrific things imaginable, then they get tossed to the side like a piece of trash.
The Army is one of the hardest hit, having only met 40 percent of its recruiting goal so far this year, with a mere three months remaining in the fiscal year.
I think it is safe to say, woke does not work when it comes to defending this country.
