Minute Order Will Block Termination of Employees Waiting on Exemption

Joe Biden’s quest to get Americans fired from their jobs will have to wait just a bit longer.

On Thursday, a minute order was issued by District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly.

The order withholds any discipline against individuals awaiting a religious exemption from being terminated.

Don’t Play Coy

The minute order stated, “None of the civilian employee plaintiffs will be subject to discipline while his or her request for a religious exception is pending.”

The Biden administration, in response, stated, “It is Plaintiffs’ burden to demonstrate impending irreparable harm…but Plaintiffs offer nothing beyond speculation to suggest that their religious exception requests will be denied and that they will be disciplined at all, much less on the first day that such discipline is theoretically possible.”

That, again, is a lie.

First, very few religious exemptions have been issued, so they have every reason to believe they will not be honored.

Secondly, Joe Biden has said on national TV that first responders, FIRST RESPONDERS, should be terminated immediately if they miss the vaccine deadline.

He has also supported dishonorable discharges for service members, which is equated to having a felony on their record… it would ruin the lives of hundreds of thousands of service members.

Plaintiffs’ attorney Michael Yoder stated, “The Biden administration has shown an unprecedented, cavalier attitude toward the rule of law and an utter ineptitude at basic constitutional contours.

“This combination is dangerous to American liberty.

“Thankfully, our Constitution protects and secures the right to remain free from religious persecution and coercion.

“With this order, we are one step closer to putting the Biden administration back in its place by limiting government to its enumerated powers.

“It’s time citizens and courts said no to tyranny. The Constitution does not need to be rewritten, it needs to be reread.”

This is one of many suits the administration will have to fight to win this battle.

Of note is that Governor Ron DeSantis and the state of Florida have filed a similar suit to block Florida government contractors from losing their jobs over the mandate.

Quite frankly, I have never seen an elected official in my lifetime that was so excited about seeing people fired from their jobs, but Joe sure does seem to be getting off on it.
