Morgan Freeman is a liberal, but he has sent some shock waves through the far left in recent years.

He has made some statements that absolutely break with the far-left ideology.

Most recently, Freeman pushed back hard on the idea of defunding the police.

Not So Fast

Freeman was discussing the topic with Black Enterprise’s Selena Hill.

He stated, “I’m not in the least bit for defunding the police.

“Police work is, aside from all the negativity around it, it is very necessary for us to have them and most of them are guys that are doing their job.

“They’re going about their day-to-day jobs.”

Frankie Faison, who co-stars with Freeman in their new movie, “The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain,” agreed.

He stated, “Well, I agree with Morgan.

“I’m certainly not in favor of defunding policemen.”

They both better be careful, or they will find themselves on the dreaded “cancel” list of liberals.
