REPORT: New Jersey Police Shoot and Kill Backhoe Hijacker

Earlier this morning, a bizarre scene played out in Vineland, NJ.

In the early morning hours, a man reportedly hijacked a backhoe, then went on a rampage.

After attacking the police, he was reportedly shot and killed.

Surreal Scene

One neighbor who was able to video the scene as it was taking place stated that it was like watching a scene in “a movie.”

Police can be seen around the backhoe when the man appears to snap.

The backhoe charges into a vehicle, then turns it over.

As the video goes on, the backhoe driver appears to turn to go after another vehicle…

The scene unfolded at the Penn Lincoln Mobile Home Park in Vineland, NJ.

If you are not familiar with the area, it is about 40 miles outside Atlantic City, NJ.

As the attacks continued, officers eventually opened fire on the man, with one shot mortally wounding him.

Several officers were also wounded during the incident, suffering minor injuries.

All of them have been treated and released from the hospital.

The entire incident is now under investigation.

Local authorities had no further comment on the incident.
