If you listen to Joe Biden, you would think COVID numbers are what they were last April, possibly worse.
With the majority of the country now vaccinated, mortality rates are well under one percent for the Delta variant, even among the unvaccinated.
The current overall mortality rate is now around two percent, which is a massive decline from what we saw even just a few months ago.
Biden, however, ran on eradicating COVID, so he now is deemed a failure and a liar, which is he is on both accounts, and about far more than just COVID.
Now, he is angry, and, according to Newt Gingrich, he is taking that anger out on Americans.

My position on COVID has always been the same… it is the new flu.
I am not downplaying the severity of COVID. After all, I had a severe case that took seven weeks to beat, so I know what it is capable of doing.
What I mean is that COVID-19 has now replaced the flu as the seasonal “bug” that we need to be worried about.
One only needs to look at the flu death reports for last year and this year to see that.
The flu was never eradicated but controlled, and many of us took an annual flu shot to help keep it under control (but many people did not get a flu shot, yet life went on as normal).
But, because Biden lied and told everyone he could eradicate the bug, he is taking out his failed lie on the American people and those that do not want to get the jab for whatever reason.
To that point, a recent headline in the Daily Mail caught Newt Gingrich’s eye because it was titled, “Biden Declares War on the 80 Million Unvaccinated Americans.”
Gingrich goes on to explain how Biden failed “the Afghan withdrawal, failed on the border, failed to get the economy money, and failed to force teachers’ unions to be reasonable.”
Now, he is taking that failure out on Americans.
Biden rails about personal choice to support the killing of unborn children, but he villainizes the 80 million Americans that are hesitant to take the jab.
He portrays them all as Trump supporters, but that is simply not true, especially when you look at the percentages.
Personally, I don’t care why people don’t want to take the jab. It is medicine, and if you don’t want it for any reason, that is your decision to make.
I am positive of one thing, however. And that is if Trump spoke to the American people the way Biden did, the mainstream media would be at war with him, more so than they already are, not supporting his every word like they do Joe Biden.
