South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has once again boosted her conservative profile while at the same time infuriating liberals.
Earlier this week, Noem signed an Executive Order to push back against the liberal agenda that is being forced on our children in schools.
The new EO will curtain the teaching of critical race theory (CRT) in K-12 state schools.
Not Happening
This will, of course, be portrayed as the blocking of teaching black history by liberals.
That, however, is not even close to what this is.
Anyone that has seen the CRT curriculum knows these teachings are a distorted version of history.
Not only that, but this also seems to be more about creating racial divide than anything else.
In announcing the new order, Noem stated, “Political indoctrination has no place in our classrooms.
“Our children will not be taught that they are racists or that they are victims and they will not be compelled to feel responsible for the mistakes of their ancestors.
“We will guarantee that our students learn America’s true and honest history – that includes both our triumphs and our mistakes.”
The ACLU immediately came out against the order, accusing Nome of “skirting” the legislative process.
Funny how we never heard them say a word when Joe Biden signed a two-foot-high stack of EOs after taking office.
