Alleged Murderer of UCLA Student Now in Custody

Last week, a horrific murder of a UCLA grad student was reported.

The girl was merely working when a man came in and stabbed her to death.

Thankfully, police have been able to track down and apprehend the suspect.

They Got Him!

As the investigation wore on, police were able to trace down the alleged killer’s movement.

The big break came when they found video of the alleged killer, Shawn Laval Smith, at a local convenience store…

Keep in mind, that video was reportedly taken after the murder had been committed.

Pasadena Police Lt. William Grisafe stated, “I can confirm officers from Pasadena PD did take Mr. Smith into custody earlier today.

“We had been notified by a community member, that they believed the wanted person was at the bus bench located at Colorado Blvd. and Fair Oaks Ave.”

When Smith had entered the store, the victim, Brianna Kupfer, had texted a friend that a man came in giving her a bad vibe.

Unfortunately, her friend did not see the text until it was too late.

Also, and once again, it appears that we have a homeless person who snapped for no apparent reason.

We should also note that Smith has a significant record that includes illegally discharging a weapon, a road rage incident, and attacking a police officer.

Do you think we need to do more to get homeless off the streets to make cities safer?
