Joe Biden has a growing problem on his hands.
His fellow party members see it, but Joe Biden stays blind to the obvious.
Biden’s policies are not making sense, and now more and more Dems are starting to bail on the man in the Oval Office.
Not Buying It
Joe Biden is asking Congress for billions more in COVID funding.
Yet, at the same time, he wants to end Title 42, a rule put in place during the height of the pandemic to curb illegal immigration and asylum seekers.
It doesn’t mesh, and it is a clear money grab.
This seems especially true when you see how much of the COVID relief money has been reallocated by states and even the federal government to feed the Democrat climate change agenda.
Key Democrats in both the House and Senate are now pushing back, and that number is growing larger by the day.
This is about as bad as it gets for Biden.
He has already lost the American people, with approval ratings that even make Jimmy Carter look like a good president.
But the fact that Biden is now losing his support in Congress, well, that just does not bode well for anyone that continues to stand by his side.
Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH), who aspires to move up to the Senate, stated, “The administration’s decision to roll back Title 42 is wrong and reckless.
“Prematurely ending this policy without a path forward does nothing to keep Americans safe, support our Border Patrol agents, protect asylum-seekers, or bring about the comprehensive fix our immigration system needs.”
Rep. Susie Lee (D-NV) added, “Until the administration can demonstrate that there is a plan in place to handle a surge in migration at the border in a humane, safe and orderly way, I can’t support the decision to end Title 42 at this time.
“By lifting Title 42 without the necessary staffing and resources, the administration will only exacerbate the tensions that, for decades, have stalled progress on reforming our broken immigration system.”
Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA) stated, “The administration currently does not have a plan, and Title 42 should remain in place until the administration has a comprehensive proposal to address the expected influx of migrants at the southern border.”
These people may not be household names, but they are all key players in battleground states that will dictate how the next presidential election goes.
Blue states are blue and red states are red, but these battleground states are what decide an election.
It seems pretty clear to me that Biden has lost them all.
