The Associated Press has been on fire of late, hitting the Biden administration pretty hard with questions during briefings.
Earlier in the week, State Department spokesman Ned Price was blatantly called out by Matt Lee regarding the lack of transparency in the administration.
Now, another AP reporter did the same exact thing to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
Enough!
Psaki had a bit of a temper tantrum, just as Price did, when reporters wanted proof of the alleged false flag operation that Russians were going to run against Ukraine as well as the details of the strike that took out a terrorist.
Considering the history of this administration just blatantly lying, as well as the reports being seen on social media, this was a legitimate question.
It was even more legitimate when you consider the lack of transparency regarding the drone strike in Afghanistan that took out an entire family.
When that strike was conducted, General Milley confirmed that a high-ranking terrorist had been taken out.
Only after reporters investigated the strike did we find out that an entire family had been taken out, which included an aid worker and seven children, but no terrorist.
Even so, Psaki questioned if the reporter was going to listen to our intelligence, meaning take what I tell you at face value and shut up, or push Russian and terrorist propaganda.
The comment did not sit well with the media and Psaki was hit on it again the following day.
AP’s Alexandra Jaffe asked, “So, yesterday you and the State Department’s spokesman Ned Price both took issue with reporters asking for evidence of your statements with respect to the Syria strike and the Russian false flag operation.
“Do you really believe that journalists are repeating Russian and Islamic state propaganda in pursuing those questions?
“First of all, and second of all, will you be offering evidence of your claims with respect to what happened in Syria when they become available?”
Psaki tried to clean up her previous day’s mess, answering, “Absolutely, and let me just start by saying that we welcome tough questions and good faith scrutiny.”
Let me stop her right there and say, no, they don’t.
From the top on down, when they get challenged on a tough question, they get angry, sarcastic, and nasty, and we have all seen it time and again.
Psaki continued, “Otherwise, I wouldn’t have come out here almost 180 times and engaged with all of you and your tough questions and good faith scrutiny.
“As I noted in a response to a question from your colleague yesterday, which wasn’t in all the context of what was put out there, we are less than 48 hours from the end of the mission.
“So, the Department of Defense is still conducting after-action assessments. And that’s a natural part of the process that occurs.”
So, if that is the case, how can they be so sure that civilian lives were not taken by American fire?
Not only that, but Price stated that the intelligence regarding the Russian false flag had been declassified but when he was asked by Lee to produce the intelligence, he could not do so.
You see the duplicity here? They were so definitive that everyone killed was done so by the suicide vest immediately after the attack, but now they are double-talking again.
Just be honest… that is all anyone is asking.
