Remember when Kamala Harris was put in charge of the border to address the “root causes?”

This was the very same assignment Joe Biden had been given by Barack Obama toward the end of their second term in office.

According to local Texas officials dealing with the border crisis firsthand, nothing is working and the situation is bad and only going to worsen.

Out of Control

The Biden administration has done virtually nothing to get immigration under control.

The only thing that is saving this disaster from dominating the headlines right now is Afghanistan.

With the media seemingly willing to turn the page on Americans being left behind, it is only a matter of time before the focus swings back to immigration.

In an effort to control the news cycle, Biden has several trips planned to Ida-damaged states, but that will only work for so long.

It is probably only a matter of weeks before border facilities are completely overwhelmed again, as the usual summer lull never happened.

Texas Department of Public Safety Lt. Christopher Olivarez stated, “Right now, the situation’s out of control.

“And unless the administration steps in and does something, puts some stiffer policies in place, we’re going to continue to see these historic numbers month in and month out.

“So, right now, nothing’s being done on their part, but the state of Texas is stepping in and doing what we can to keep our communities safe and to keep the nation safe.”

Biden is literally failing this country on every front right now, so it is only a matter of time before this all blows up in his face.
