For more than a week, the conflict between Hamas and Israel has been front and center in our headlines.

This has brought about many questions regarding Democrat sympathies toward Palestine, specifically regarding aid that Joe Biden has promised to Palestine.

That aid also led to rather astonishing admission by our State Department that has conservatives and Republicans absolutely outraged.

Paying to Bomb Our Allies

With Palestine allowing Hamas to operate on the Gaza Strip, the natural question would be if there would be any stipulation before a check was handed over to Palestine.

Conservatives suspect the recent cease-fire is only temporary, with Hamas getting ready to reload.

That leads us to the question… will aid provided to Palestine possibly end up in the hands of Hamas to help fund the restocking of missiles we all know will be used against our ally, Israel?

When a State Department official was pushed on this subject, the official stated, “We’re going to be working in partnership with the United Nations and the Palestinian Authority to kind of channel aid there in a manner that does its best to go to the people of Gaza.

“I’m also sure that the government of Egypt will have some role in that.

“As we’ve seen in life, as we all know in life, there are no guarantees, but we’re going to do everything that we can to ensure that this assistance reaches the people who need it the most.”

Translation: The money could end up in the hands of Hamas.

There is a simple way to ensure the money goes to where it is supposed to.

Before handing over a check, insist on detailed tracking of how the money is dispensed, including detailed tracking of the money after being dispensed to agencies for disbursement.

We could also threaten to place sanctions against Palestine if we find out the aid ended up in the hands of Hamas.

Without those guarantees, Palestine should not be getting a check, period.
