How many times has House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) whined about Trump or some other Republican calling someone a name?
The funny thing about this is that she usually unleashes on someone else not long after.
She did it this week by calling House Minority Leader McCarthy (R-CA) a “moron.”
Where’s the Science?
The comment made by McCarthy that drew the insult by Pelosi was merely calling out the new House mask mandate that has no science at all to back it up.
McCarthy stated, “Make no mistake – The threat of bringing masks back is not a decision based on science, but a decision conjured up by liberal government officials who want to continue to live in a perpetual pandemic state.”
When Pelosi was asked for a comment regarding McCarthy’s statement, she responded, “He’s such a moron.”
Drew Hammill, Pelosi’s spokesperson, even doubled down, stating, “Unfortunately, we can’t verify this audio because of poor quality, but I can confirm that the Speaker believes that saying a mask requirement is ‘not a decision based on science’ is moronic.”
McCarthy fired right back, stating, “Well, if she’s so brilliant, can she tell me where the science in the building changes between the House and the Senate?
“Can she explained to me when the CDC says only vaccinated people need to wear a mask in hotspots … [D.C. is] not with more than 86% of vaccination within here.
“Can she explain to me the less than 1% affected there?
“So it’s a lot of questions if she knows so much science, explain to me where the science changes in the rotunda.”
Pelosi cannot explain it because there is no such science to back up her claim, just a CDC that is doing everything in its power to facilitate this power grab by Democrats.
