We all know the January 6 Select Committee is nothing but a joke.

Having said that, it sure would have been fun to see how much havoc Reps. Jordan (R-OH) and Banks (R-IN) would have been able to stir up.

Now, however, we will never know because House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has banned both members from the committee.

Scared of Jordan

I love how the media has completely ignored the biased members that Pelosi has appointed.

One of her appointments actually had a lawsuit against Trump and Giuliani, which he dropped because he is now the committee chair!

But, I guess that does not count as being biased.

Let’s see… two of her other appointments were impeachment managers, so I guess that does not count as bias either.

Watch this segment from Fox News, especially the early part, where the media react to McCarthy appointing Jordan to the committee…

With Pelosi refusing to rescind her ban on Jordan and Banks, McCarthy is now expected to pull all his appointments and boycott the committee, but that does not mean there will not be Republicans on it.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), another Trump enemy, has already agreed to be on the committee.

Pelosi is also considering Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), one of the handful of House members on the right that voted to impeach Trump.

Once McCarthy pulls his other nominees, I would suspect Pelosi will try to tap a few of the House GOP members who voted in favor of impeachment to truly stack this committee with nothing but people who despise Trump.

To that point, while the mainstream will be more than happy to tout the final report of this committee, half the country will never take it seriously.
