The harshest penalty that Paul Pelosi has seen from his drunken stupor has finally been revealed.
After receiving a slap on the wrist for his DUI, the police group Pelosi had donated to revoked his privileges.
If you recall, Pelosi used the courtesy card during his arrest hoping the cops would let him skate.
Pelosi was a big donor to the CHP 11-99 Foundation.
When you give big bucks, you get a courtesy card.
This is pretty much the norm around the country in terms of donating to local police foundations.
It is also the norm to put the card between your license and registration when you get pulled over for a minor traffic violation.
It is not, however, expected to help when you total two cars, are drunk, and cause injury to another driver.
After reviewing the case, the Foundation stated, “After evaluating the events that [led] to Mr. Pelosi’s arrest and conviction, we are revoking Mr. Pelosi’s lifetime membership with the CHP 11-99 Foundation effective immediately.
“The mere presentation of his 11-99 Foundation identification credentials to law enforcement made it appear that he was presenting them for preferential treatment whether that was the case or not which violates the terms and conditions he agreed to on his membership application.
“These actions reflected poorly on the 11-99 Foundation and undermined our important mission.”
After pleading guilty, Pelosi pretty much received the minimum penalties across the board, including the DUI being classified as a misdemeanor when it should have been a felony due to injuries caused.
