That is what we heard from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) about the Justice for J6 rally, and none of it was true.

John Q. Taxpayer paid for temporary fencing to be put up around the Capitol this weekend.

Secretary of Defense Austin approved 100 Guard members to be sent to DC to support local law enforcement.

Additional officers were activated based on “intelligence” the Capitol Police had in regard to the numbers attending the rally.

It was all for naught.

From the reports I saw, there were more police and troops than there were protesters.

For the most part, the protesters were peaceful (I have seen reports that four people were arrested).

I don’t necessarily have a problem with the precaution, but I do have to ask why such precautions were not made during BLM and ANTIFA rallies with a long history of getting violent.

We also have to wonder why we have a fence around the Capitol again and Joe Biden halted border wall construction as well as continuing to allow illegal immigrants to cross our border unvetted.

Is it me, or are the priorities of this administration and the Democrat Party in general completely twisted right now?
