The Texas abortion law has sent a shock wave through Congress like none other.
The moment the Supreme Court said the law could stand, Democrats and liberals lost their minds.
Democrats are portraying this as the overturning of Roe v. Wade, to the point that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans on introducing legislation to protect the abortion precedent whenever she decides to get back to work.
Selling It Has Health Care
The key to the Democrat plan is to sell abortion as health care, which, in most cases, it is not.
Without taking a side in this argument, I think we can all agree that some abortions are different than others.
By this, I mean when a woman is raped, or an act of incest, or when their life is in danger if they carry it to term.
Again, I am not saying it’s right or wrong, but an argument can be made in those cases for actual health care.
However, when someone accidentally gets pregnant, well, that is not health care, and there is simply no way to present it as such.
Pelosi disagrees, stating, “When we go back to Washington, we will be putting Roe v. Wade codification on the floor of the House, to make sure that women everywhere have access to the reproductive health that they need.”
Again, notice the framing… “reproductive health.”
Then there is AOC, who actually went as far as to say the Texas law has overturned Roe v. Wade, which it has not (by the way, I reported the tweet below for misinformation and would encourage everyone reading to do the same)…
Republicans promised to overturn Roe v Wade, and they have.
Democrats can either abolish the filibuster and expand the court, or do nothing as millions of peoples’ bodies, rights, and lives are sacrificed for far-right minority rule.
This shouldn’t be a difficult decision. https://t.co/GcEjkxt3gs

This is how Democrats will try to get voters energized for the upcoming 2022 mid-term elections.
They know if they lose those elections, they lose their chance to pack the Supreme Court.
Don’t forget, Joe Biden still has that bogus commission examining the Supreme Court, a panel that is expected to offer up its recommendations very soon.
