Pence Holds Rally with Kemp on Eve of Election

Mike Pence took another step in distancing himself from Trump on Monday night.

While Trump was holding a Hail Mary rally for David Perdue, Mike Pence showed up at a rally for Governor Brian Kemp.

If polling is even mildly accurate, it would be Pence that backs the winner.

Tough Blow for Trump

This is one of those races that Trump had at the top of his list.

I firmly believe the right candidate could have ousted Kemp, but Trump took a wounded duck into battle.

Perdue had already lost a Senate election to a no-name progressive, yet Trump thought he could take out Kemp in a primary election.

Current polling has Perdue getting crushed, polling that Perdue says is inaccurate.

By the end of tonight, we will find out whether that is true.

Pence predicted this will be a “historic Republican victory six months from now when we will win back the House, win back the Senate, and re-elect Gov. Brian Kemp for four more years.

“I am here to support Brian Kemp.”

Pence did not name Trump in any remarks, but his mere presence at Kemp’s side was a shot across the bow.

Trump is going to get dealt a devastating loss in this election and the media is going to jump all over it.

The question is whether Trump will support Kemp going up against Abrams, if he will stay silent, or if he will continue to attack.

If he chooses the latter and Abrams takes Georgia, he will have difficulty winning conservative votes moving forward.

Trump has to start thinking big picture here, and this will be a significant test if he is willing to put the country before pride.
