POLL: Biden Disapproval Rating at 60 Percent

What happened to the wartime bump?

That is what Biden supporters are trying to figure out.

Well, when you bungle yet another crisis, even the most forgiving doesn’t reward you for it.

No Bump for Biden

Traditionally, a White House occupant will receive a nice bump when a conflict breaks out.

That, however, is usually because the United States does the right thing.

Biden has bungled this one from the outset.

He could have literally imposed the same measures but done so pre-emptively while using stronger language and I have little doubt he would have gotten a five to 10-point bump.

For instance, had he put the sanctions in place before the invasion, sent defense aid to Zelensky before the invasion, added troops to our NATO allies before the invasion, and taken a more aggressive posture against Putin before the invasion, it would have been a different story.

Americans do not like weakness, and Biden was reactionary rather than pro-active, so no bump for Joe.

The latest Rasmussen poll is reflective of that, with Biden now sitting at 38 percent approval, with a 60 percent disapproval rating.

A whopping 50 percent of the country “strongly disapproves” of Biden, so people have very much made up their minds here.

As much as people despised Trump, he had a 47 percent approval at this time in his presidency.

The sad reality for Biden is that his son’s laptop is finally getting investigated, which means these numbers could get even worse for Joe.
