Mexico has just snubbed the greatest foreign policy Oval Office occupant we have ever had in office.
Joe Biden, who regularly touted his foreign policy experience on the campaign trail, has been snubbed by the president of Mexico.
President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has told Biden he will not be attending the upcoming Summit of the Americas.
No Thanks
Mexico is trying to throw its weight around to get some very controversial leaders invited to Joe’s little party.
Obrador informed the White House that he would like his fellow leaders of Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua to attend the event.
It was soon after confirmed that Biden would NOT be extending invitations to the leaders of those countries, so Obrador has declined his invitation.
Obrador stated, “There cannot be a summit if all countries are not invited.
“Or there can be one, but that is to continue with all politics of interventionism.”
This has created a bit of a problem for Biden, as several other countries that were expected to attend are now considering boycotting the event in support of Mexico.
This will just be added to the long list of failures that Biden has accumulated since moving to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
There was a time when the president of Mexico would not have dared to challenge a sitting president of the United States.
With Biden in office, that time has clearly passed.
