Fox News Announces Jesse Watters to Get Prime-time Slot

A few days ago, Jesse Watters sent liberals into a tizzy when a video hit social media about comments referring to Dr. Fauci.

The snippet was selectively edited to create outrage, and it did, except at Fox News.

While liberals, including Dr. Fauci, were calling for Watters to get fired, the network just gave him a massive promotion.

Jesse on Prime Time

Watters can be a bit out there at times, but he has become one of my favorite personalities on Fox News.

His blend of humor with political knowledge works amazingly well, and conservatives generally love him.

His rise is rather amazing, actually, having gone from “Watters’ World” to “The Five,” and now to a prime-time slot.

He first joined Fox News working on “The O’Reilly Factor.”

His man-on-the-street segments quickly became a thing of legend, ensuring that Watters would soon be a force at the network.

Fox News has just handed Watters the 7:00 p.m. slot with a show that will be called “Jesse Watters Primetime.”

If you were worried that the new time slot would have Watters taken off “The Five,” don’t, because he will remain a co-host of the very popular later afternoon Fox News show.

FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott stated, “Jesse’s versatility and hosting acumen has grown exponentially over the last five years, and he has developed a deep connection to the audience through two hit shows The Five and Watters’ World.

“We look forward to watching him expand his connection even further through this new solo weeknight hour.”

Watters responded, “I’m thrilled to take on this new challenge and am grateful for the opportunity.”

“The Five” has become a major force in its slot, drawing more than three million viewers during the last quarter, an absolutely staggering number of watchers for this time slot.

I would suspect that Watters will do very well in the new slot as well, as viewers love the fact that he never backs down, willing to take on his own co-hosts in any argument if they are spewing misinformation.

I lost count of how many times he called out Juan Williams on the air, possibly leading to Williams’ exit from the show (that is conjecture on my part).

Good luck with the new assignment, Jesse.

And liberals, well, get those safe spaces ready, because you are going to need them when Watters hits the air.

Will you watch Watters’ new show at 7 p.m.?
