Hershel Walker is expected to come out of the Georgia primary with the nomination.
However, there are some skeletons in his closet that would limit what he can personally attack his Democrat opponent, Senator Warnock (D-GA) on.
No worries… a pro-Walker PAC has stepped up to provide “air support” for Walker.
Big News
Walker has never hidden from his past.
The things you will hear about as we get closer to the election are all well documented.
They also come at a time when Walker was in a much different place mentally.
Walker has even welcomed the attacks, saying that will not be the reason he loses and he is more than happy to openly discuss his past problems with anyone.
The issue, however, is that it limits how he can go after Warnock, who has some of those same skeletons in his closet, are they are fresh, unlike Walker’s.
Most of this came out after Warnock won the special election, so this is all fresh meat for Republicans.
34N22 PAC spokesman Steven Lawson is now stepping up to help Walker.
He stated, “I think you’re going to see a significant investment into our organization because we’ve got the team in place in the organization in place to… define Raphael Warnock as a rubber stamp for Joe Biden’s disastrous policy decisions.”
Lawson continued, “Herschel Walker is running as a uniter, not just for the Republican Party, but for the entire state.
“He’s running on issues that every Georgian cares about… better jobs, better schools, and keeping our communities safe.”
He later added, “34N22 looks forward to providing air support for Herschel Walker’s ground game to help deliver a big win for hardworking Georgians in 2022.”
This is excellent news for Walker, who will need all the support he can get in one of the more important Senate races for Republicans.
If they can flip just this one seat while holding the rest, they get the majority back.
This will also probably be one of the ugliest races we will see, as there will be plenty of mud slung right up until the first vote is cast.
I still believe Walker wins this race, but I think it will be just a bit closer than many are expecting.
