The reports of health problems for Queen Elizabeth continue to make headlines around the world.
Recently, the Queen has missed events due to her mobility challenges.
Pictures recently surfaced showing the drastic difference in her physical appearance from only a year ago.
With more health concerns being raised over her mobility issues, her duties have officially been scaled back.
This, of course, has brought on more speculation that the Queen’s health woes are far beyond what is being reported publicly.
Change of Duties
Queen Elizabeth has been notably missing from many prominent functions as of late.
It was only about two weeks ago that numerous reports surfaced speculating that her days were numbered.
Now, her “official” duties have been scaled back dramatically to those that she “must fulfill” in order to retain the crown.
At 96 years old, speculation was running rampant that the Queen would step down and turn the crown over to Prince Charles, but she is a tough old bird and not quite ready to walk away from her duties just yet.
Remember, this is a woman that was thrust onto the throne in her 20s after her father died, making a commitment at the time that she refuses to concede.
Recently, the Queen missed a church service during the Jubilee and prior to that, she had missed the first day of Royal Ascot.
Prince Charles has been taking on more of her duties as the Queen steps back, but, for now, the crown will remain atop her head.
