Chris Cuomo has been a controversial host for CNN virtually from the first day he showed up on the set.
He brought some baggage with him and he only created more once he became cemented as the network’s nightly star.
That all caught up to him this week and he was terminated, something Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) says was long overdue.
It’s About Time
In most of our eyes, CNN ceased to be a credible news organization during the Obama administration.
The network sold out completely to promote Obama and it only got worse from there.
During the Trump campaign, the network twisted narratives, then bought in hook, line, and sinker to the Russian collusion narrative.
The network also pushed the narrative that all conservatives are racists.
This continued through the 2020 election, where the network openly worked to help Biden win.
Part of that was Cuomo looking into the camera every night, acting like a self-righteous, arrogant, pompous, above everyone do-gooder.
However, deep in his closet were some serious skeletons and a belief that he was above the law.
That, of course, led to Cuomo lying to the network and his viewers regarding his role in defending his brother against sexual harassment allegations.
That and the fact he has now had a second sexual harassment allegation levied against him has finally led to Cuomo being terminated by the network.
After his termination was made official, Paul moved away from hammering Fauci for a brief moment to go after Cuomo and CNN…
Long overdue, and a small step toward CNN regaining any kind of credibility… https://t.co/bwOLKrpoCB

I both agree and disagree with the Senator on this one.
The firing was long overdue, but CNN is so deep in the rabbit hole right now, there is simply no way they regain any credibility unless they fire everyone from top to bottom and hit the reset button.
CNN is more TMZ than TMZ these days, and it simply cannot be trusted to put an honest spin on a story.
