Massachusetts State Rep. Arrested for DUI

Democratic Massachusetts state Rep. David LeBoeuf has found himself in a bit of a pickle, literally.

LeBoeuf decided to get behind the wheel of his car after hitting the bottle pretty good.

When state police stopped him, he blew a BAL of nearly four times the legal limit.

Police stopped him after receiving several calls of erratic driving on I-93.

Rules for Thee…

Today’s politicians firmly believe the rules do not apply to them.

We see this just about every day in what they do and say.

When LeBoeuf’s vehicle was stopped, the trooper reported, “an overwhelming smell of alcohol beverage billowed out of the window.”

When police looked inside the vehicle, they found nine empty bottles, an empty can of wine, and another that was half-empty.

The legal limit is 0.08, but he blew a 0.329 and 0.317 BAL.

House Speaker Ron Mariano stated, ”Driving under the influence is a dangerous and often deadly mistake, and I am deeply relieved that no one was injured in this instance.

“I have been assured by Representative LeBoeuf that he will be seeking help and I will support him on his path to recovery.”

How about removing him from his seat and prosecute him to the full extent of the law… that sounds much better.
