Once again, Joe Biden is about to help out the Chinese economy.
Instead of making conditions better for American businesses, Biden has a better idea.
He is reportedly going to lift the tariffs Trump put in place to try to get prices lower on common household goods.
More Damage
At first, some people will surely welcome this idea.
Over time, however, it will do more damage than help.
If you recall, small businesses started to thrive when Trump put in all these measures to penalize importing goods from China rather than using American goods.
In addition to the tariffs against the Chinese, Trump also helped create a friendlier environment here for small business owners.
Biden has destroyed that and our supply chain, which has created this entire mess.
As bad as it is, importing these goods will eventually crush American business owners, and we will start to see layoffs as we have in the past.
Trump’s policies drove the unemployment rate to historic lows before the pandemic hit.
Under Joe Biden, we still have not come back to that point, and this move will start to turn the tide the other way.
It may save us a few bucks initially, but we are going to start to see more American businesses go out of business, which means more American workers on the sidelines collecting money from the government.
Oh, that’s right, I forgot… that is exactly what Biden loves… people being dependent upon the government.
