Percentage-wise, no community in this country has resisted the vaccine more than African Americans.
The anti-vaxxers on the right get far more attention, but in reality, that is just one faction that is contributing to negative vaccine numbers in the country.
This is especially true in DC, where, if the vaccine mandate goes into effect, it will crush the black community living in that city.
Numbers Don’t Lie
Since this pandemic started, the idea of mandates started to get thrown around, and I have stood my ground that the demographic that would be impacted the most was the African American community.
The overall number may not be as large as other demographics, but the percentage in the community that will be impacted is far more significant than any other demographic out there.
If we look at DC, a mere 39 percent of black residents have been vaccinated.
That leaves 61 percent of the community that could potentially lose their jobs due to the mandate.
Now, this is the community that the Democrat Party has always maintained it is looking out for, but history, even now, tells us a far different story.
In reality, the Democrat Party, for the most part, is only concerned about the black community during the few months heading into an election.
Show me a Democrat city that is thriving and not overridden with crime right now.
There could possibly be a handful of outliers, but the norm here is cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, etc.
The vaccine mandate is a perfect example of that, especially in how Democrats are pitching this narrative.
I am for choice simply because I do not think anyone should be able to tell you what type of medicine you should be putting into your body, especially a Gen1 vaccine (and for the record, I am not against vaccines, but I don’t fault anyone for wanting more data on this before taking it).
Republican National Committee spokesman and director of Black media affairs Paris Dennard stated, “Democrats like Mayor Bowser and President Biden should be ashamed of themselves and their clearly discriminatory vaccine mandates that disproportionately penalize hardworking Black Americans who have the freedom to decide what is best for themselves and their families for personal, religious or medical reasons.”
Bowser is about to launch a vaccine passport mandate in DC to restrict entry to clubs, bars, restaurants, and other indoor establishments.
This means that without the vaccine card, you cannot enter, period.
How well do you think that will go over in the black community in DC?
New York, Chicago, and Boston, all Democrat-run cities, have also implemented similar measures.
In essence, you are telling the black communities in these cities they cannot work, and they cannot live their lives as they see fit.
What they can do now is sit in their homes and sulk until they take the jab they do not want to take.
